Origin and Production

Bumbu Rum is distilled and blended in Barbados, the birthplace of rum, continuing a tradition that dates back over 400 years. It is crafted using aged Caribbean rum, with some batches aged up to 15 years in former bourbon barrels. The rum is made from a blend of sugarcane sourced from eight countries across the West Indies and South America, ensuring a rich and balanced taste. Production is done in small batches and blended by hand to maintain quality and consistency. 

Flavor Profile

Bumbu Rum is classified as a spiced rum-based liqueur with 35% alcohol by volume (70 proof), slightly below the standard U.S. rum threshold of 40%. Its flavor is naturally sweet and smooth, featuring notes of vanilla, caramel, chocolate, banana, and molasses, with subtle spices that create a dessert-like experience. The sweetness and complexity make it approachable for both new rum drinkers and seasoned enthusiasts, ideal for sipping neat, over ice, or in cocktail
